Gonna Do This

Okay, here I go... Kari Marie, my oldest daughter, thought I should try a blog, after she started one when she found out her and her husband, greg, were expecting. I really loved her blog (and still do) so thought I could make mine about my three main loves in my life... my children (and grandchildren), my cats, and my dogs. Hense the name of my blog Kim's (that would be me) Kids, Kats and Kanines. As you will see, as I reveal more of my life to you, I have a thing for K's.

For as long as I can remember I have always loved animals, but cats are my most favorite. They are just so soft and cuddly and I love their personalities. I had alot of these lovable creatures as I grew up and would probably have about 50 right now if I wasn't married. My husband ( of 31 years), David, keeps me limited pretty much to only 4 cats at a time these days. We do have 3 dogs, the Kanine portion of my name.

Then, the best for last my Kids, Aaron, Kari, Michael, and Kristi. My oldest son Aaron blessed me with my first grandchild, Kristopher and my No. 4 grandchild, Grady. Kristi gave me numbers 2 and 3, Kayli and Kevin. Kari continued the blessings with twins last year, No.'s 5 & 6 Ella and Evan.

I have always loved babies and kids. Did a whole lot of babysitting when I was a young girl ( a couple years ago). I did enjoy the extra money, 50 cents an hour(regardless of the amount of kids I watched) but I just really loved taking care of and playing with little ones.

I probably would have had more children of my own, but again, I was married and David felt we had enough.

Well, this is the beginning of what I hope to be an interesting and fun project. Next step is to figure out how to put my pictures on here so all can see why I am so in love with my little group of Kids, Kats and Kanines.
